Why does the cat always act as a hunter?
Cats are cats and, consequently, by nature, they are ( almost ) infallible hunters. Despite this condition - by definition - there are many cat owners who write to our editorial staff wondering why their cats, affectionately reared at home and far from the need to find food in nature - continue to hunt lizards, birds, and other animals.
Well, the answer is very simple, and it is useful to dwell for a moment on it to deny those who believe that by feeding their cat more, this will leave the poor little animals that live in the neighborhood in peace.
In reality, cats are hunters - we repeat - by their very nature. And being skilled hunters, they know well that they have to hunt at any time, even if they have already eaten and are not hungry, because they know they have to find the prey to eat as soon as possible, when there may be no food available.
It follows that there will be nothing to do: your cat will always maintain the hunting instinct. But isn’t it one of the reasons that make it unique?
Why doesn’t my cat want to use the toilet bowl?

So try to buy the type of tray that your cat proves to appreciate the most: unfortunately for you and your pockets, you will often find the desired result only by trial and error …
